All of our coffees stay fresh unopened for up to 9 months. Our teas stay fresh unopened for up to 12 months.

Lockdown brings new attitudes and different ways to continue to enjoy what you really love. Italian coffee has always been our preferred drink but we’ve usually bought pre ground coffee from the stores or a local Italian deli.
So we looked at how we could get our favourite delivered and coffee direct had the answer. So let’s grind our own.
We found the service very easy to use online and once the delivery came - prompt and no fuss - we set to work with the first of the two large 908g bag of beans.
It says smooth and intense espresso flavour and it really delivers what it promises. The flavour is rich without being too intense, although we like it strong. We’re nearly through that first bag, ground into an old Italian espresso tin we bought years ago. This won’t be the last time we’ll buy from coffee direct and in fact you could say it’s probably changed how we buy coffee for good.....and it’s very good, everyone might want to try it too!

Smooth, strong and the perfect anytime coffee for lovers of a rich and intense flavour.
Smooth flavour. A drink at anytime coffee. Superb aroma
Not much to say about this coffee. I would class it as a ‘safe’ coffee in that you can’t argue with it but you also can’t eulogise about it. In other words I find it pretty mediocre and bland. Have tried it as double shot espressos and cappuccinos and it doesn’t alter my opinion of it being a bit boring (better as cappuccino). The price is its only saving grace. Two and a half stars out of five as this one sits on the fence.

Great fresh roasted coffee beans and real fast delivery
We’ve been buying the Italian roast coffee from coffee direct for 8 years or so. The quality of the coffee never waivers, we’ve never thought about going anywhere else.
We prefer the darker roast coffees, more like the traditional cafes in Europe, but even better.
Deliveries are always on time and when you need to reschedule, it’s really easy.
We couldn’t recommend them enough, top quality coffee and an equally impressive service.
