Our Exclusive gift pack includes six 125g packs of the following coffees:
Kopi Luwak - This very rare coffee, sourced from Sumatra, is among the most sought-after and exclusive coffees in the world. The coffee cherries are eaten by the Asian palm civet, a small member of the Viverridae family, and are then digested, fermented and excreted, before being collected and sorted by the knowledgeable native farmers and sold on as Kopi Luwak. The process, which takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian archipelago, creates a strong, intense coffee, but with delicate flavours and very little aftertaste, making it ideal for both filter drinks and espressos.
Blue Mountain Jamaica - Our certified Blue Mountain Jamaica is a real treat for coffee lovers and demonstrates just why this variety is one of the most sought-after in the world. Grown on Jamaica's longest mountain range, the lush Blue Mountains, at elevations of 3,000 to 5,000 feet on average, these high-quality arabica beans benefit greatly from a cool and misty climate, plenty of rainfall, rich soil and, of course, excellent drainage. The resulting bean reveals mild, sophisticated flavours and a pleasing lack of bitterness when roasted, and works wonders in all your favourite filter coffees. Such is the quality and popularity of this lauded coffee, that it carries a globally protected certification mark from the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica, confirming its authenticity.
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe - Grown in the Sidamo Province of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is among the best of the washed coffees, coffees that undergo a process before roasting whereby the cherry of the bean is removed before the bean itself is dried. Our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is a smooth, mild and great tasting coffee that can be enjoyed straight from the cafetière all though the day, with a distinct fruit-like acidity that adds a pungent addition to the traditional mocha flavour.
Colombian San Agustin - Sourced from Colombian coffee plantations in the Andes mountain range, our San Agustin is a mild strength bean that benefits from the cool shades of banana and other tropical trees during growth; when the coffee cherries are grown below the canopies of these trees, the risk that they will burn is significantly lowered. Once professionally roasted, this delicious bean creates a rich, smooth coffee that is right at home as a filter coffee or brewed to perfection in a cafetière.
Dark Maragogype - The particular bean used in our medium and mellow Dark Maragogype is known as the 'Elephant Bean', which, as its name suggests, is selected because of its larger size. The Elephant Bean, grown in higher, temperate regions, produces a coffee that is smoother and richer in flavour than standard arabica beans, combined with a slight acidity, resulting in an all-round coffee that can be enjoyed from a cafetière or as a punchy espresso.
Barahona Paraiso - This medium-strength coffee comes from Paraiso, a town located in the province of Barahona in the Southwest of the Dominican Republic. Barahona is surrounded by lush, green mountains and fresh rivers that run to the Caribbean Sea, and enjoys a tropical climate and average temperatures of 85 degrees F, making it ideal for growing quality coffee. Our Barahona Paraiso is smooth, incredibly aromatic and perfect for strong filter coffees and full-bodied espressos.
